My husband and I went to visit my parents last Saturday evening because the two old couple wanted to have dinner with their grandchildren; and along the conversation, they mentioned that they are planning to spend two weeks in the Virgin Islands because a friend of theirs showed them a catalogue of a package tour to the island and apparently, the catalogue seemed tempting so I really could not blame my parents for all so suddenly deciding to go; but what happened was that my dad told me and my husband that they would love to go there with us and the kids especially that the kids are in high school now and it would be a great experience for them to travel somewhere outside the main land especially that the beaches in the American Virgin Islands are nothing like we have ever seen before; so, by the time we were about to go home, my mom handed out to me a catalogue of st john hotels in the Virgin Islands and told me that they are planning to stay there when they go, hopefully with us. My husband is now calling the schools where we have planned to enrol our kids for the summer, because we need to inform them that there is a possibility that our kids might be late for a week as we will be going to the Virgin Islands for a summer vacation; and we have decided to accept the invitation of my parents because the kids convinced us that we should go, and when our kids speak, my husband and I would always listen.

Making sure we have everything we need such as food, tent, clothing, throws and blankets, lamps, guns, fire, first aid kits, batteries, ice buckets, beers, lighter, pegs, meat, water, cellphones, and radios, we started packing to the forest after we decided to go there since we have been in the city for quite a long time and we feel that going to the forest will bring out the jungle man inside of us. We went there during the weekend so that we will not be interrupted with work and we went there even before the sun rise so we can enjoy the cool breeze of the mountains and when we arrive to the site we started setting up the tents and cooking the food and we also got ourselves beers to warm our bellies. After setting up everything we decided to hunt for food since it is hunting season so we can really hunt in that forest plus we also brought our guns with us so we can really hunt so we decided to play a game and see who can catch food first so we started the hunt and after about an hour we are back with our catch and from the results it seems that all of us was able to catch something because one of my friends got a deer while the other got birds and rabbits. It was really fun going out with the guys indeed our jungle self came out in the process because we are able to get our own food and setup our own home and from that experience we realize that we should do more of these things since it was really a lot of fun.
